The Travellers Rest sits within the West Dorset countryside, deep in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where big skies and open views make it hard not to head straight outside. Converted from traditional farm buildings, the four cottages are homely, comfortable and made for easy stays. 

Life here is simple and relaxed. Walks begin on the footpath in our field, winding through the countryside. Lovely village pubs wait with a warm welcome. The Jurassic Coast is on our doorstep and beautiful seaside towns are ready to explore. Back at the cottages, coats are shrugged off, paws and people settle in and the rest of the evening takes care of itself, whether that’s the TV on, a board game, or an early night.

With the Jurassic Coast in easy reach, Bridport and West Bay just three miles away, and Dorset and Devon unfolding in every direction, Travellers Rest is well placed for wandering this beautiful part of the world.
